Ok I use a wood base .I cut my own. Then prime them .I lay my metalic balloon or wrapping paper glue it to the cross with wb make shure you glue it good it can peal but when I do my cross I wrap my cross all the way with grout, back also .Then I play with glitter or pant and other thing on the rapping paper .What ever hits my fancy.I am glad you like it I have some more to show you.I will later.

The confett is the metalic kind It is done on silver tape It is more work but I like the look.

Do you mean you put the glitter, paint or balloon on glass then cut it and mosaic??? Don't understand about wrapping it in grout, unless you put a layer of grout on first, then cut these pieces of balloon as if they were glass. Little more 'splanation sure would help here.

Ok slow I am sorry I have problems trying to say what I want.I glue the mylar to the wood cross then the glass.Then I put glitter to the top of the mylar b.I use a lot of glitter glue.I also descoverd that there is a paint (finger paint )for kids with pretty fine glitter .I bought some for my gb who likes to work with me .It was so neat I stole it from her .We love it. I then grout the front and back.I add glue to my grout for the back.

Wow that is so ultra creative!!!! When I did my fake mosaiced Ipod I used a tissue paper under the glass but that is so cool what you have done. It reminds me of the gal that uses painted crash glass (broken tempered glass) I was always envious of how she did it but now we have your method which I think is just as great!!!
