I have researched platform bed that are higher but they aren't high enough. Bought a platform bed plan but would have to modify the legs extensively to bring to regular bed height (which is want I want).

I am thinking - can I buy a regular wooden bed frame headboard/foodboard and make my own sort of platform bed insert? Some sort of frame with the slats that would take the place of a box spring?

then I would have a bed at normal height with normal lenght legs etc.

What do you think?
