Oh, NT - early morning to me is the best part of the day. I run out of steam about 4:00 pm cuz sometime I get UP at 4:00 am. Shades is going to enjoy her thread when she returns.

HAHAHAHAH I am laughing so hard. Morning is not my best time. I could easily become nocturnal. I come wide awake about 10 PM and have to force myself to go to sleep at midnight. Awaking before 8 AM is torture for me.

Thanks for all your nice comments on my table. It has been fun.

I learned a few things. One if you can not get right back to your project cover it with a light cloth. Dusting this mess to be able to glue down was a REAL Pain.

Two. If your pretty flower falls over the top of a rim,plate butt :^)), you can take your dremel tool and grind the foot off BEFORE nipping the plate and you can save more of the flower. And skin on your fingers. It takes time but worth it.

Town run was sort of a bust. We have to go back tomorrow. Hubby has hurt his back. Well so did I. So tomorrow we both go back for another treatment. Chiropractor said no shopping trip today.

I did sneak in the thrift store across the street while I was waiting for him and got a couple of plates two REALLY pretty glass vases or? A cool old hamper, I collect them, a small suitcase and a nice enamel pan for the kitchen.

As soon as we got home we had lunch and I went right out to transplant trees before I stiffened up. So tomorrow will be a rerun of today only our appointment is even EARLIER!! Cripes I might as well not even go to bed. Heheheheheh

Thanks again. When I get the table done I hope to add just a little to the mirror. It is already so heavy I am not sure how much more weight I want to add.:^((( Oh and yes I plan on keeping the table.

Gosh Shades that is really pretty. I love the plates. I found some gorgeous ones at our 2nd hand store but the wanted 3.99 a plate and I just felt that was way to high. Or is it Im to cheap??????? Anyhow your table will look awesome when done. Your doing a nice job. You cut them great!!!!!! Hope the back gets better fast!!!!! Rest girl!!!

Crap of dawn is right!! Could REALLY become a night creature if t'weren't for this little 'gotta pay the bills' thing we've got goin' on! LOL! I love the early morning hours, too, but would MUCH prefer to STAY up and see them than try to sleep and GET up to see them.

I agree with you and curb - I could become nocturnal/a night creature, too. I've always been that way. And curb...I've totally thought the same as you - love the early morning hours, but prefer to STAY up to see them rather than try to GET up to see them. LOL

OH Yah staying up to see the mornings is great. Drifting off just as the sun comes up, puppy or kitty in lap.I used to get up at 5 AM. No more.

Another long day in town. The good news is my back=leg is so much better. Feeling coming back now. And another early morning take off. Eye Roll. I have not even had a chance to play with my table since I posted. Sigh. I did buy a couple little tings to add to it today. More to the mirror part. Brain is heading that direction already since I am getting close to just filling in the top now.

I will add a good bunch of the plates I used were passed onto me from friends with an antique shop. They had to make a move and these were saucers with no cups or chipped / cracked. They gave me a box full of them. LOL I even saved a few of the sandwich type plates for us to use in my eclectic plate collection. Since hubby keeps breaking them I decided to not have a set but mix it up. Then I will not cry when one gets broken.

Hubby had me do the driving today about 150 miles plus the shopping part. I am done in. Hot tub here I come.

Yep Yep...I have to make myself go to bed by 1:00. If it got any harder to get me up in the AM, Dh would probably file for divorce. (hard being he has to yell for me once or twice) I have a rule that if it turns 3 and I'm still up - just stay up cause going to sleep will make you tired LOL

Shades I'm sorry to hear about your back... going that far for adjustments sounds aweful, I'd have been inclined to stay in town at a motel or something! lol
