We are about to install our 1912 Kohler iron clawfoot tub into our remodeled bathroom. The tub will sit on brand new Foussana limestone. Do we risk cracking if we don't use some sort of glass (?) coaster under the feet? I've looked through dozens and dozens of photos online, and for the most part, I don't see coasters used in every case. I'd rather not use any because of the visual aesthetic, however, I definitely do not want to crack the tile. Any advice is much appreciated.
