ICheer, we had a hockey player living with us a couple of years ago during the hockey season who came from a long line of Notre Dame alumni. He would have absolutely flipped out when he saw this, so I know your SIL will love it too! Awesome job.
P.S. that hockey player is currently attending & playing hockey for ND.

Well I'll be danged!! NO ONE would EVER believe this is your first project. Appears as if you've been doing this a very long time. You REALLY captured the expression on the figure's face. That's painting w/glass. The whole things smacks talent. Keep it up. If you did this well on your first, you KNOW we'll be watching for your next project. Boyohboy, I'm impressed. I hadn't realized you used clear glass until I re-read your comment. Beautiful job.

Wow, that is awesome. Your 1st GOG and no grout bleed? WOW. That is the reason I haven't tried gog yet. That came out so perfect! I love the clears as background. And yes, I am resign the placing textured side down just because I can't get the grout out! Nice work

wow, that really turned out cool. I remember you posting here a time or two and then looked in your album and remembered why. I have always drooled (big puddles too!!!) over your studio the first time you posted it!!!

Your GOG is cool, I have yet to do one but will with time. I actually like the textured glass even when there is a little bit of grout that you cant get out!! Have you tried a tooth brush to scrubb those individual pieces? Probably to late now as it has cured. Great job!!!!!!

I don't post a lot because I'm still in such a steep learning curve, but enjoy everyone elses posts very much. I've learned so much from the generous sharing of techniques and ideas everyone offers here and hope to be a more prolific poster and contributor as I gain more experience.

All of the posters in this forum should be very, very proud of themselves for creating such a warm, welcoming, supportive environment to share ideas and inspiration in. I lurk on several glass boards on the web and this one is BY FAR the best!
