How to stop the wobbling...

A friend asked me to build her a 36"x48" table for cutting out quilt tops. Because she is tall, she wants it 38" high. She also wants the legs to fold for storage. To keep the weight down, I was going to use 2x2 for the legs. I ordered posi-lock brackets and installed them today. That table rocked like a baby giraffe on wobbly legs! I anticipated that I might have to put a brace between the legs but now I wonder if that will be enough to make this a steady table. Should i run a brace across near the top AND the bottom? Would appreciate any advice. (The brackets I have will allow me to use a larger leg but I'm not sure that will help.)
