Haven't found a solvent. You'll have to scrape it w/a razor blade and fingernails when it's dried. Sorry for your troubles - I hate trying to clean it off mosaics too, and use it only when necessary.

As slow said, scrape as much off with a blade as you can.
Then clean the area with denatured alcohol.

Please try "Goof-off" (I think thats the right name). It comes in a little yellow and red container. It really works on silicone, hope it works for you., Its availble in any hardware store.

Thank you, panic over. Lots of scraping before drying - it's easier. And I found oil takes it off. But I don't want to use it too close to the sink as I have to re-silicone. I'll use a smaller bead of it next time. My DH thoughts are "if a little is good.....")

Hey, don't feel bad about your DH, my "professional" put a big wide band around my sink on top of my (this forum probably remembers my whining post when I was working on it) mosaiced counter top. I just have to get up the nerve to start trying to reduce it.
