don't second guess yourself, wait till you give them a try out and see how you like them. I don't work with tile nips so I can't say what you should look for.

Those are fine if you are gonna use tile nippers. I have don't really use mine because I tend to like the wheeled nippers. But they don't work real well for the tiles that you buy at the stores like home depot. They (the tile nippers) have a learning curve though!!! I never could get them to cut exactly how I wanted them to. The wheeled nippers are sold in most stained glass stores or on the internet if you end up wanting to change to those.

If you have a book store nearby check that place out also. I have gone there (when I have about 2 hours to kill!!!) and checked out the mosaic books and then I would write down the titles and then I would buy them used on alibris.com or on ebay. Especially if you can't get any at the library...watch they will end up being :LOST: because the other person won't turn them in!!!!

Hmmm, they had some with a wheel, but they were only like $7.95 where these were like $17.95, and I figured maybe the others weren't going to be as good because they were cheaper. I guess I should have bought them first & saved the money, then bought these if I needed to. I have a cutter for glass and runners, etc. but I'm guessing they wouldn't work on tile.

I'll try to get by the book store when I'm in town to see what looks good. Thanks!
