going to wetcanvas? or the other

I was only told about the womem2women chat.

Got this email today:

Hi everybody. P Cox has showed me how to get to the wetcanvas chat room. I went in there last night, and it is MUCH nicer than w2w where we met last week. Here are the instructions for getting there, edited a little from what P sent me:
Go to wetcanvas.com. Join and become a member.
Click on Tools in the blue menu bar, scroll down to Chat Live and click.
Click on Chat Now (or on Larger Window) and it will load a new window with chat in it.
The Cafe is the main room, there are 3 others we could have the mosaic chat in.
Every time I have tried to click on Chat Now, my computer locked up. When I used Larger Window instead, it worked fine. It does take a several seconds to load.
I would like to find out how to go to one of those other rooms P mentioned, as there are other people in the main room. I looked around but couldn't see how. P, if you know, could you email all of us today and let us know? AND tell us for sure where to meet. Otherwise we'll just meet in the Cafe.
I'm not SURE I'll be there tonight, just as a caveat. If not, you guys have a great time anyway!

Aw man..I'm finally on on a Sunday night and have not a clue how to "chat" bummer.

I had emailed someone on the other chat week but never got anything back on how to get on the chat....I think we all need a refresher (ok probably just me!!) if we are going to go to the W2W chat room or where ever...

chickeemama@comcast.net put chat on sunday in the remarks or something like that so I dont think its junk and throw it away. I don't open things from people I dont know.

I just signed up at wetcanvas & w2w and still no clue.
Course I'll probably never be on here on a Sunday night again, so probably doesn't matter I guess.

I signed up for both too. I never got a confirmation email from wetcanvas, so I can't get in.
Oh well.

Bama I got one from wetcanvas right away...still didn't get me anywhere. ?

Go to tools ( at top) then Chat Live...gets you to main room...over to right click on rooms, should find one that looks like it would be for us. It was shard room tonight, don't know if it will always be that. Maybe Ladyronnie or pea can elaborate more

The room that we were in tonight is a temp room that lasts as long as we are in there and then disappears when the last one leaves. Next week you can either create a room or use one of the 3 empty ones on Wetcanvas chat. Since i was there first I made a room name with a mosaic name so it would be easier to find. I named it 'Shard Pile'. If I am the first next week I'll name it the same.

After you are in the main chat room(called the Cafe) look to right you will see 3 tabs: Users(this one will be open), rooms, and options. Click on the rooms tab and then click on 'Shard Pile' from the list then click the 'enter room' button.

Btw, the chatters in the main room are friendly artists(mostly painters) but they chat fast(especially with 10 or more chatters). If you have a problem they will help you get you to the right room, just ask. My name on wetcanvas is beautifulfreak so don't be scared when some freak welcomes you...lol.
