Pea can you cut those glass globs in half or just use part of them for a split hoof look? I cut some large beads in half for my mirror around the green glass globs.

Are pickled pigs feet green? I have dim supressed memories of a jar at a butchershop as a kid and they were red/orange in color.

ok, my host has come back online...I guess they were upgrading or something. Here is my piggy as he was when i first asked, currently i have completed all the glass on his body except for on his ears and feet.

That is absolutely darlin', and I REALLY love the vases. You do such beautiful work. Never w/have thought of doing something in all white w/just a few bits of color, but hmmmmm, I think you've given me an idea on how to finish my holiday exchange gift.

Looked at the pigs,chairs,sharks, too cool! We only have a banner program that you buy a banner and paint it, and it is displayed around the city. Since we are "The Bathtub Racing Capital of The World", You'd think we'd at least have a bunch of tubs done!!!

he is my first piggy...only piggy if i don't find more pigs(I got him at the dollar tree and he was the only one they had).
I was wanting to do a traditional pig but I didn't have enough pink glass but that white irredescent flashes pink in the right light. I would like to find more piggies...I have an idea for a mardi gras themed pig and other piggies.

This piggy's legs are very short not sure if the half glass gem idea will work. p

Cute pig! I'd put a speck of white-out or nail polish on each eye so he doesn't look blind. My boys really like him also :)

I didn't put my beads on a wire instead I just adhered them like the glass but in a spiral...I added the photo of my completed tail to my slide show.

Your piggies have a nice shape...I love the large snout. I saw some on ebay with a nice snout but the ears were bent forward...I like yours since they are upright.

I can never find patterned dishes like you have on your pigs at my thrifts. I went to Goodwill today and all the dishes were boring and expensive...why would i pay $20 for chipped peach colored dishes...the color was nice but the price wasn't for dishes I was going to break, if i wanted a $20 set of dishes to eat on I wouldn't buy chipped ones.
