thanks for your nice comments. Yes the small round things in the middle are glass beads...yet another good thing about gog, you can incorporate anything made of glass!!!

that's right onto the kitchen window?
if you can lift out one side of the window, how did you get the left side of the window out?
I have the same curved wood, above the window in my kitchen.

Thats a might nice window ya got there!
I really like the glass beads. They add a nice interest. Oh and the bits of green glass, just enough to break up all the blue. Ya got it goin' on!
So, do you mostly do gog? I have yet to attempt one, but after doing copperfoil panels, I'm itchin' to try it!

That is absolutely gorgeous!!! Love the colors and combinations of shapes and materials. It "might" even make kitchen work more pleasurable for me; I would certainly go in there more if I had that to look at.

Wowsa! This is beautiful! I'd love to have a sunny spot to put something like this, but alas, the only good spot would be the oval-etched (read: expensive "option" when we built the house) front door that is in full Southern exposure. I'd LOVE to gog something like that.

Very gorgeous, like someone said it is very peaceful. I just love it. Does your windows still open? It looks to be two windows. I really love the colors..I was thinking about doing our bedroom window with something like that, not your design but a gog. As usual, another on my to do list!!!! Please tell us how you did it. Im really curious about the windows if they still open which is a must for me!!

The gog is done on a very large picture frame that just happened to fit perfectly on the inside of the sill of my kitchen window. I can take it out anytime but I dont have to because I can still open the actual aluminium window behind it. You can see the shadow of the window in the middle of the second pic. It's my largest GOG mosaic yet, being approx. 1 metre wide by about 80cm high. It was fun but took ages! I used window silicone with uv resistance because i want it to last a long time. It didn't turn out quite the way I imagined.....but thats the beauty of gog and what keeps me hooked the most, is your only limited by your imagination!
