Thanks everyone! You have no idea how many times I've redone this thing. Once I took the red stuff out, it finally
started to flow.

Bama...the back is turning out kinda like the front right now.

Annie....Yep, it's going against the red wall. It really
would get lost on my tan walls..so glad I have the
red wall!

Rosie......I used some of the sheet music under clear glass
on some of the
frets. It's hard to see with the glare. I tried
to tea stain it, and ended up painting
it a metalic gold. I'll put some
inside the hole after I grout it. The sides are
about done, and I've been playing with the back a
little today. Just letting it flow is starting to
be fun, and not so much work now!!haahah

Thanks for all the compliments. I was afraid all the browns
would be such a turn off. I love earthy colors.

OH Hazie I DO LOVE your guitar. I think it would look great grouted in black or dark brown. You are brave to try grouting around shells. Is that whatI am seeing on the left side?

I think the pin just belongs on that piece. And the three hand thing always cracked me up. Took me awhile befoe I even saw the third hand.

I think the browns on your red wall with Tiger Lily will be stunning!!! Curious on how you are going to hang it?

Hazie, I can see this picture....it is awesome. I love the way it looks. I think the black grout will be great!!!! The pins look great on there. Im so glad I can see this picture. I was so frustrated with the other ones cause I just couldnt see them. Its awesome that Shades was able to send you that pin it just fits!!! You have inspired me so much, I went and bought some abalony shell strips! Gonna start collecting enough "stuff" to do a project like yours...

Well it's DONE!
I ended up using the tan grout. I tried to grout it in the black and it ruined the rocks. I don't think this last batch of rocks I bought were tumbled enough, they were really porous this time. So I scrubbed the black grout out, and scrubbed and scrubbed the rocks, and went with the lighter grout, and painted the handle grout black.
The sheet music inside was painted metalic gold, and with the camera glare you can't see the music notes. I'm going to try to resring it tonight.

OH Hazie your guitar turned out wonderful!!! The buckskin grout is PERFECT for it. The rocks are so shiney it looks like you polished them even more.

I LOVE it against your red wall. NOW you need to do one more piece. Things need to be in three's for balance. So what's it gonna be? A horn??? or a TOTEM!!! with all the same things on it. Hehehe
