Single story ranch, oklahoma, 18 windows in the house total if you count each window in the bay.

15K home loan to update Windows, kitchen (granite counter tops 3K, appliances 2K??), and maybe if there is anything left over work on Master Bath small cosmetics in BRs.

Option A Restorations by Sunrise Double Hung top of the line Low E 12 layer, insulated core, argon, etc. $8600, or no frills low e $7600 SIngle Hung. Best looking window of the 3 based on reading and looks, but Im a mail man not a window contractor. Well known local installer. Known to be the highest price but no compaints that Ive heard on service just on price. Comfort factor of 30 years in the business in a smaller town and still has a good name.

Option B MI Branded out of Penn. Double Hung Window pack low e 7/8" bla bla bla...7400 Single no frills 5500. Contractor seems like a nice guy but 2 of the 3 local folks 1 whom is a relative are not happy with the service, happy with the product but service is lacking.

Otion C North Texas Windows (Unknown to me) Double Hung no frills but low e 5500. Have a website tout being in business 25 years. Unknown to me but one of the big 3 in our area contrator who seems like a good guy.

Im not sure but I like choice A but Im easily sold on the best of breed and the service comfort factor. Wife says no way she wants the extra 1500-2K to go to the kitchen etc...But its not over yet, I may be able to come up with the diff out of my 2nd job on the side and pay it over to the house fund....

Any thoughts on brands or advice for ROI, theroies like as long as the wondows have been replaced brand doesnt matter, etc....Adivice and thought are needed and appreciated.Pay more for the service but get a lesser window??
