My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Converted? Me thinks so!

Hubby has been supportive all along of my little "glass" addiction, but I didn't realize just how appreciative he is of my determination to create beautimous things from glass using as many recycled items as possible until yesterday evening.

Last night I was putzing around, sealing stepping stones and taking pics and he casually mentioned that he scored another door for me. My ears perked up immediately since I've been casually collecting glass doors for a half baked idea I have to build a GOG privacy screen for our backyard.

Turns out he picked up the same exact curbside door I had spotted yesterday on my way to work (but I didn't have a way to pick it up so I just passed on by). He snagged it and brought it home to mama! That makes four glass doors and a couple of old windows that it's up to little old me to create something FABULOUS on, and then he'll wave his magic hammer and build something beautiful with them to screen our neighbors from looking directly into our backyard.

He's a keeper!
