I have the same bad habit.

Neck from leaning over the project. But it annoys me enough to get up because I can't work when something's annoying me.

My neck gets achy too, along with my rear end from sitting too long! Hubby surprised me this morning with a new padded work stool and it's so cool! He used the foam from old fashioned orange life vests, covered that with softer foam, and then covered the whole enchilada with animal printed fake fur! LOL I will take a picture of it when I get home and try to post it. The coolest side benefit from it is the fur is long enough that it's very easy to turn and twist from one work area from the next without getting up. (Luckily I have a good vacuum cleaner that will gobble up any glass chips that fall in it!)

I see my chiropractor REGULARLY because of mosaic aches and pains.

She asks "too much mosaicing again?" She has one of my pieces so she knows what I go through. I get the pains from the bra line up through my shoulders and down my hands and elbows. I now wear a tennis elbow (epycondilitis) brace below both elbows when cutting glass. Saves on elbow and wrist pain in the long run.

Hmmm, does your pain have anything with all that SHAKING you did yesterday? LOL!!

I too have "tennis elbow" in my right arm. I have to wear a brace as well. My neck gets stiff, but have to stop because of arm pain.
Nippers kill... Maybe I will call it Nippers elbow!

I used to have a stool covered in faux tiger fur. I made a tail out of the same fur and attached it to the back! Got a lot of strange looks. Oh, that was at work..an art gallery.

ooooooh - tiger fur! May have to steal tail idea ... DH said he bought an entire yard of fabric and has some leftovers. The grandbabies would LOVE that :-)

Funny thing about this stool is that it's the ONLY thing in our house in animal print. I've never really thought of it as my style, but I must say it's just fun & funky enough that I love it!

All of the above, almost all the time. Had issues before mosaic. Just exacerbated them. But the worst is that the being humped over makes me look like I have a hump in my back. Also, i forget the gloves from time to time and my hands are beginning to look like an OLD woman's hands. I now use Surgeon's hand conditioner that I buy from QVC to help repair the constant damage. It's like chapstick for your hands.

I have osteoarthritis...yep it hurts. I just take a pill and keep going.
