In a pre-mosaicing craft life, I did some shabby chic work on older furniture...those pieces seemed to sell better if they were distressed, in addition to painting, etc. Do ya'll distress your sc work, or leave the white paint on the base piece intact?? WHat do you use to faux age yours? I generaly use a thinned stain applied sparingly.
