Mosaic with deer horns . . .

Saw these on my local Craig's List this morning; they are a little different and might give y'all some inspiration (not that you need any!). Looks like the artist uses natural stone tiles, deer horns, and pebbles, among other things.

OHMYGOODNESS - those are fantastic mosaics. I love how the artists has incorporated found objects as the focal points in those mirrors. BEAUTIFUL work. Thanks for posting that one, SILVAMAE.

WOW ! I've been looking for a way to use my deerhorns in something mosaiced .... that's a great idea !! Those are some really pretty projects .. I Bookmarked it "For inspiration" . Thanks Silvamae !

I would have not thought of using deer antlers....what a great idea..I have a couple of friends who roam the woods, etc. for deer antlers and make the most fantastic lamps, candles, etc. from their finds.....this would be a wonderful gift for me to make them! Thanks for sharing!

Now see, this is where I have to say that I get "inspired." See that #6 picture of the round mirror that has a different 'shape' on the interior?
I have no fresh ideas of my own. I would never think of this. But I can run with someone else's idea, and create something...I just need the inspiration. I would never think outside the "round" of the mirror like that.

Yep it is a good idea to save the pictures on your own computer because here Craig's list adds go away after 45 days.

These mirrors are very nice and I also love the different shapes.

OH and HAHAHAHAH Did you all see the kitty in image 10 that is in chair jail just watchng. Hehehehe Animals are a trip.

Love the antlers,I've been thinking of doing a mirror also with big antlers on top with mosaics!

My 14 yo DS got his first deer this morning. A little 3 point. Not very impressive antlers, but DS was thrilled, and momma's proud that there will be more meat in the freezer! I'll show him this photo and see if he likes it. If so, maybe I know what he'll get for his birthday in April :)
