Thanks Chickee for the pattern. I think I can copy it off and turn it into wood base or maybe the cement backer board would be better since it will be outside.What do you use to cut the cement backer board?? MM must know???

I use my RotoZip tool to cut backer board. Just make sure you have plenty of ventilation and wear a mask because it is quite a dusty process. Love my RotoZip, it's better than my Dremel!

HUMMMMMMMMMMMM thanks Ramona. I am going to have to look into getting one. Just asked hubby and he said we do not have one.That is YET!! I think this will be another good investment. We can always use tools!!

Another easy way to get a pattern would simply be to take your own flip-flop, and trace it onto a paper bag or a piece of cardboard, then cut your backer-board.
