Well for sure it would have taken me a year since my 2 are still sitting untouched for mo and mo.Not interested in them right now maybe this spring....beautiful headboard ,she will love it ,bet she can even hear the cool breese blowing while she sleeps.Fantastic job ,it is wonderful.

( ps. you might want to seal those shells before your grout, It's hard to get out if they have ridges.. and it may stain if you use darker grout..I found that out the hard way :)

Thanks for the tip. I put some Sally Hanson hard as nails on them, hope it works.

You all are wonderful to have around. I am feeling so much better about this project I just want to kiss you! Thanks to everyone of you. I actually finished the grouting today, what a JOB! I decided to take Mosaicwench1 recommendation to use bone colored grout. Thanks wench hehee, I love saying that! My back is killing me. I ran out of grout and had to hurry and make another batch. I get so anxious when I start grouting things. I am learning a lot about grouting though.after I seal it I will put another pic up.

My Sister loved the headboard. She couldn't believe I took so much time to do something like that for her.They are having a little problem with attaching it though,it really needs to be higher then what it normally would be so that you can see the whole piece. I told her to cut the legs off and just use it as a mural above her bed. That might be safer for them anyway heheh!

I attached the headboard I made right to the wall.
