I'm not disagreeing with you in anyway, just want to understand, so if I ever step up to lead an exchange I'll know some of the prior issues we faced

You did good . There are always people that get
"caught up in the moment " when signng up . It's harsh - but they had their chance to make their intentions known ...- forget them & move on . Don't fret over it .
They can join next time .

NT: I have been monitoring CLOSELY the responses/acknowledgements from the gals in the exchange. There seems to be little to back up their interest in the exchange--Tamar has never MADE anything to back up her VERY recent interest and we haven't seen anything from CRACKED since October. Add to that their lack of response to my inquiry about receiving a name. Perhaps I'm wrong about the situation and if I am I do apologize to Cracked and Tamar, but I did NOT want one of our long-time MOSAIKERS to be left holding the short end of the stick because two forum members weren't able to back up their interest. I can't tell you how badly I feel about this but I gave everyone plenty of advance notice.

Please don't feel bad, it's not your fault. You've done a great job!

I wish it wouldn't have to have any hiccups but I suppose it's bound to happen, when so many sign up for an exchange.
It might be something to consider, in the future, that anyone signing on, has at least a few weeks of fairly consistent posting, to be added to any list.
I was really new, when I joined into the frying pan exchange and was accepted readily.
there weren't nearly as many for that one, as for this one...
I had rather wondered how it would be done, without a hitch.
have you done a search for any postings of either of them?

I understand Rosemary, it's a difficult decision and if it turns out to be a misunderstanding, I hope both members will understand and continue to participate.

I see a post be Tamar in Nov that she/? had an idea for the exchange.

Cracked posted not long ago on something else (not exchange) she made and unfortunately her user name being close to Crackpotannie's, many members confused the two.

I'm not arguing for their inclusion, just making sure we're all on the same page.

Perhaps next time we should send in our email/address info in the beginning? Then when it gets closer to exchange time, if someone doesn't respond to emails, boot 'em out?
I agree you should be a frequent poster before allowed in.

Also, I must say that just because I haven't posted pictures of my work does not mean I haven't made anything or that my interest is recent. It means that I haven't figured out how to post pictures. That would require figuring out how to plug in different cables and such, and honestly, my little fingers are just too sliced up from cutting glass ... But don't worry - one of my kids said they would help me with this ...

Praise the lord...he does work in mysterious ways, eh. TAMAR: send your package to the name I gave you. And thanks for finally responding. That's all I wanted. There were several people who dropped out and I had to be sure all the gals would receive a package.

I know how you feel about not being able to post pictures. I don't own a digital camera (yet... on my Christmas wish list...so keeping fingers crossed). I love seeing other's work and agree...it is inspiring when you can see what others are doing. This exchange is the first for me and very excited about participating. Can't wait to see what everyone is doing! And very excited to get my exchange sent. I hope she likes it!
