Thanks EVERYONE for putting up with me and my million postings about this room!!! I was soooo excited yesterday that I was up and in this room..tweeking it, till 3am!!! The gal that nods off at 9pm! I made an album of the new look and now am off to get a Gift Exchange done!!! YIPEEE!

Art Room

man oh man, you've gone and got a super room for just about anything you want to make in there...it's awesome.
are you going to have an overhead light fixture over the work table wired in?
with a 'Tiffany' style shade, that you can make for it?

and I absolutely love that table, with all the sea shore finds in it...I used to have abalone shells but not anymore and the sand dollar is huge!
lots of interesting things in there....it's like being in an upscale art gallery, in downtown Seattle.
I've just really, really gotta make a trip up there, when all is convenient.
off season is the best for fares on the clipper.
you're one very lucky lady!

and you also need to have your tea pot brewing in there..lol

Just one thing - although I like your peacock wall, it is not complete without the stained glass peacock. You have GOT to finish that baby to put on the wall!

You could always do what I want to do, Maria, Throw a foamy under the 4ftwx6ftl table!!! It's sounding better and better everytime I think about it!lol! Puppies would love it but DH might miss me!..maybe....lol! Speaking of DH, he is freakin' out cuz I keep hauling more stuff into the room and now he thinks: "It's too busy"...once "the peacock" is DONE...there will be more room....hoooowww loooong have I been saying that????? hmmm, note to self, haul computer into art room.....heh heh!

I'm w/SHRTY, BIANCHI: Guests can deal w/the hardships of sleeping on the floor or a sofa - you need a place to work - you live there - you need a quality of life. That way, you'll be a better hostess. Clear out that room and get to work.

Heck with GUESTS slow, talking about the kids - 13 and 17 LOL!!

I love Sid, he is adorable (son isnt bad either,hehe) The pig seems pretty happy being dressed as a reindeer though.
That does it, Slow is right, who needs aguest bedroom. The bed goes first (its a double), after that it should be easy. My daughter is in cahoots (sp???) with me. She has workmen at her house and is talking to them. But I have to wait til after June, my brother is coming from Germany, so I do want him to be comfortable while he and his wife are here. After that its rip-out time. And I buy a "Foamie"! Love that word!!
