Well how darlin' is THAT. Don't see crash glass. Are all those blue/yellow pieces you put on, or just the tree? Don't understand. Very creative.

SLOW: What's mosaiced is ALL crash glass. The blue, gold, tree and star were all already painted on. I just covered it with the clear crash, so you are seeing the color THROUGH the glass. In person you can see the depth through the glass. More of my sister's sliding glass door :)

OH MY, LADY - I remember my sliding glass door pieces were squares and rectangles - they looked just like smalti shapes. Boy, how I wish I'd saved those pieces. Your pieces are LARGE. What a great idea to use them on the ornament. Can't tell if it's grouted.

What a good idea! I never thought to cover those Christmas hanging things with tempered glass. You have the color and the glass. Turned out great.

The gal that got it was thrilled :) She says she decorates her tree in a "cottage" style, and "this is perfect." I'm so glad. Mine was the only ornament that was passed around so everyone could see. Don'tcha love those strokes!!!
