I like the one SLOW has!!! With the thingy underneath! Anything with POWER Baby!!!

Pat, I have an Inland Wizling; bought it used. I like it and it meets my needs but if I was going to buy another one I would seriously consider the one Slow has - I believe it's a Max. I think Lyndalu just bought one too. And I found a comparison chart recently that showed that one has the most power of all the brands. I'm sorry I don't know where that chart was but maybe you could do a search for 'glass grinder comparison'.

I'm waiting to buy the one slow has, the 2 in 1 Diamond max, because I think the big grinding pad is best for plates - removing footers...

I have two a inland impulse touch top and an inland wizard. I would definetly buy the inland impulse again versus the wizard. The wizard has a bigger work area but it has a tray in the front to hold tools and such but just uusally is a pita because somehow water gets in there!!!

My inland touch top switch quit working and I emailed them and they have such great customer service, they sent me all the replacement parts to fix it free. It was just a tiny little switch!!!

I dont know anything about the one that slow has but it sounds like a great one too!!!

I have the Glastar G8 All-Star grinder...so far perfect for my needs. I'd buy it again.
My wetsaw is a Felker TM-75...everything you'd ever want in a wetsaw.

I also have the Glastar All-Star. It's been great for my glass. I'd probably get the one like SLOW's if you need to grind down plate butts.

I have the inland wizling....and love it. I put several hours a day on it...for weeks at a time. The only thing I'd do next time is get the touch top one. I can order the foot
petal...and just keep forgetting to do it.

I have the Wizard IV and have had no complaints. But then, have heard the Max is the way to go. I also am now using fine grinder bits so that it doesn't chew the glass up on the edges.

I just got the Glastar Diamond star for Christmas. I don't grind plates and I've been doing mosaics for 7 years without a grinder so I didn't get the top of the line model.

I like it for as much as I've used it (not much yet).

I would get the one that Slow has because I do use plates a lot and would like to grind off the footers easily.

I have the Inland Wizling; and it also has the flat grinder like Slow's or just the bits. You can use both large bit and flat wheel by just lifting a guard. Or you can remove the large flat disk and change tops and just use the bit grinders. This way gives you a larger work surface. This is a touch top grinder too. I have not figured out how to use all of it. Working on it. I think I like it but really need to get serious about using it.

There are neat jigs that hold the glass so you can cut angles on the flat wheel grinder and I think that will be very usefull especially if I do get into doing stained glass.
