Turn them over and you have two new surfaces - for awhile.

If all else fails wrap with tape or dip them in that plastic/rubber stuff with which you coat tool handles.

Yeah, Curb - I wear them out fast too. I clean mine often w/alcohol. What burns my buttons is that Delphi packed the two pair I ordered in a box about the size of a shoe box, but square, and charged over $7.00 postage, when they could have been put in a regular letter-size envelop w/two stamps. I'm gonna get some of the plastic dip stuff on the next trip to Lowes.
