Hi! I know what you mean about Dwell. I tend to frequent:

www.lottaliving.com (this one I visit every day)
www.eichlernetwork.com (they also have a magazine)
www.retrorenovation.com

Then there are some personal blogs I follow, and you can link to other blogs from there (these guys keep a great list of links):

http://www.atomicindy.com/
http://cincinnatimodernation.blogspot.com/

A lot of the blogs are renovation-based, but I think those are a lot of fun. Once you get in and start clicking links, you'll find new favorites.

And of course my own fabulous (but a bit dusty) blog . . .

Here is a link that might be useful: Magic City Modern blog

Thanks, jakabedy--what a treasure trove. Wish I could attend the 10/9 event...I'll check back on your blog to see how it went. Really appreciate your taking the time to write all thse out.

Thanks for asking fly! I love lottaliving and drool all the time. Can't wait to check out the others. I am convinced my next house will be an MCM house.

We're actually changing the date of the atomic crash party to 11/13. I forget if you are nearby, but you are more than welcome to come! Joint the Magic City Modern group on FB and you'll get updates.

Jakabedy, I saw your post on another thread about not sharing since there are not many MCM lovers on the board. I wish you would! I think for many of us born in 50s and early 60s, we enjoy seeing homes that remind us of those we grew up in.

I recently took two of my parents four Russell Woodard Sculptural armchairs to DD2s house. I told them the other day to not be selling their first bedroom suite. Still looks new, and the lines are nice enough to be used today. I think she'll love it too, when the time comes to start spreading around the furnishings.

Hey, allison! I love that you still have the Russell Woodard chairs. What I wouldn't give for that Broyhill Danish Moden living room suite my parents used to have. When mom was looking for new furniture ca. 1990 I told her just to get rid of it all -- who would ever want that old stuff again. I slap myself every other month or so.
