I'm updating my bedroom and need some inspiration. The furniture is asian-inspired with clean lines. I got rid of the fabric treatment I sewed 17 years ago, but am going to retain the room darkening pleated shades. I'd like to hang panels on each side, but I would prefer to cover the headrail across the top. One window grouping is 95" wide.

Most of the windows in my home have fabric covered cornices, but I'd like to avoid this expense in order to utilize ready made panels that I have found at BB&B. I don't care for the swag type valance that is offered with the panels and am prepared to purchase additional panels and remake them into some sort of valance, but I have no idea what would suit this style room. I'm going for a minimalist, serene type of setting.
