We're getting down to the nitty gritty on the great room that's being built, framing starts next week. Yay!

In one corner of the room which faces the road, between the entryway and wall, we're building a "book nook." The book shelves will be high except for the one on the wall which faces the road. That's where we're putting in an oval shaped decorative window.

We don't want clear glass, but a frosted or privacy glass so no one can look in. Even though our closest neighbor is a half mile away! The builder said he's not sure if they make frosted glass for this..something about double panes and how they use them in bathrooms but not other rooms. He lost me there, but he is definitely going to check into it for me, he loves to please me...great guy!

If we get a clear glass, I have to put shutters there..pretty, but I don't want them on that particular window...hence, "decorative window." I want to enjoy the window from the inside too!

Does anyone here have a similar window that's not in a bathroom who can show me a picture, and give me the "official" name of the glass so I can show him?
