PB Pillow covers for fall...

Never purchased from PB before but I was pleasantly surprised at how much I love the pillow covers, once I got over the sticker shock, lol. Not great at arranging them, but wanted to share. I especially love the painted sunflower covers- aren't they fun?!? (sorry about the darkness, daughter's friend dropped MY camera).

Here's the before:

Here are the new covers:

your living room is beautiful! And I see why you love those pillow covers... so fun and fresh, and you can just change them out with the seasons! The sunflower ones are awfully cute.

Oh, what a beautiful room! All of the pillows are very pretty. I can just imagine coming home after a hectic day and walking into that room and everything just slows down and relaxes from that point on. Beautiful beautiful!

I look at those sunflower pillow covers every time I get the catalog or walk by the store. They look beautiful in your room!

Looks like you got some of the Simone? I like that fabric although the colors won't quite work in my own home. Boohoo. Did you see those crewel covers? I. LOVE. THEM. I need to start looking for a new sofa (keep putting it off because I hate the looking process), and I'm hoping to find one where those pillows will work.

    Looks great!

I love those -- they totally update the room. And I hope you don't mind me saying this, but how about swapping the very cozy-looking blue throw for something in another color?

Yours is one of my favorite LR's. I love the sunflower & other pillows! You've gotten a very elegant look without sacrificing the comfort factor in the room. Perfectly done!

That is a good lookin' room! Very nice! Yes...I like those pillow covers...I'll go take a look online. Thanks for sharing..

Ehhhh...these pix really are bad! Must get my camera fixed.
Yes- Simone pillows, thought they'd be great with my O rug. Thanks for looking and for the nice comments!

    Those look great!
I have many PB pillows and absolutely love them.

Very nice! I love the pillow combination! Your house is so pretty Lori!

Awww...thanks! I find myself checking the PB website to see what pillow covers are on sale now~
So in between cleaning and painting kitchen stools this AM, I took a few new pix. Hopefully these aren't as dreary?

Ahem, I am headed to the mall today... might pick up one of those sunflower pillows for myself...

Personally I think that it really takes your already beautiful room to another level.

Room is beautiful already and the lovely pillows just add to the ambiance!

You guys are so kind to me...

I hope you'll help with suggestions/fun ideas for our breakfast room very soon. Got the MCM family table and 4 chairs, have to repair and strip them, first though.
Had my heart set on a pale blue/green/gray but hubs really wants cottage white, so I'm trying it out first on our stools to see how it looks~

    Sue...good luck- show us!

These look wonderful in your pretty room that is so warm and inviting!.
Veering OT just a sec: just curious if I'm the only one who will still occasionally see the stickers, side by side, for the pillows and see them as before and after sale prices? Then I remember( after getting excited) that, no, those are prices for a) cover and b) insert. :>/ Wish they'd find another way to tag the prices. Thanks for mini-hijack:>)

loribee, went to the PB store and they didn't have any... guess the influx of Christmas stuff crowded them out. So, um, I came home and ordered one. Which of course led me to order a gold colored throw (from another store). I should quit reading this forum.

Love the pillow covers and I like the idea of changing out the covers for the season. So far, I've been very happy with PB pillow covers, quilts and duvets. I'll have to visit their site to see if I can find some for my couches.

Your room is so pretty and bright! I'm looking for 2 armchairs and like yours very much. Are they recliners? If they are, they don't look like it, and I think something similar might work in my living room. I'm looking for chairs that are stylish but also comfortable.

loribee...I just wanted to say I love your room!
It is the look I would someday like to achieve. Beautiful, and so inviting. Those new pillows look amazing!

You're painting the MCM furniture? As an MCM'er I must provide the disclaimer that a mention of same gives me a little chill. Would you consider perhaps selling the MCM set to someone on CL who really wants it and then getting something more appropriate for your tastes?

Uggg...typed a long response and lost it!

Sue- my pillow covers arrived in 2 days- hope yours does too. Make sure you show us~

Juddgirl- thanks! The recliners are Chloe, by Lane. I highly recommend them, sturdy and comfy. :)

    Pammysue- THANK you so much~

Jakabedy- we didn't realize that my FIL had stained some of the chairs. Unfortunately we will have to paint. I realize it devalues the set but as it was designed by a family member, the set should stay in the family. My husband is thrilled that we are going to be using it.

I've been a lurker for months but had to register to ask loribee if she would tell me what rug that is in her living room? Also, I've been working with a furniture store decorator, and she's suggesting a leather recliner that is $2,000 but will give me a price of $1,499. I just can't bring myself to spend that much. I'm really liking your Chloe recliners. Are they good for the price and is that real leather? Thanks. If I ever figure out how to post pics, I'll be asking for y'all's great advice. I love this site.

    Hi Gardenpea-
The rug is from Overstock- took a chance and ended up loving it...
I just checked, it's sold out right now but available in the 8' round.

My chloe recliners by Lane were very reasonable. I honestly can't recall the exact price but I think they were around $600- an upgrade because of the leather fabric. Yes- real leather. We love them and they've held up really well.

Please post pix and share- can't wait to see!

    Loribee....
So pretty~ I've been interested in the Simone drapes for my mom ~ love the pillows in your room!

I also noticed a new rug?! It looks wonderful.

    Smiles:)

    loribee,

I just noticed your sofa and I love it! What brand is that? And where did you get it?

The lines are awesome and I love the color.

Scooby, I bought the O rug a couple of years ago...it was in my kitchen.

Check out the Simone drapes for your mother- such fun colors!

Makeithome - the couch and loveseat are from Bernie & Phyl's, which is I think, a New England based franchise.
The make is Collegedale. Hubs picked it out and I picked the color- barley. Thanks for asking~

Loribee, that's so funny! DH and I were looking at that same couch in a store here. I wanted so badly to be able to see it in a beige... and now I can.

    Thanks a bunch!

Makeithome...the price was right and so far, so good!
My beige - barley color has a bit of a goldish tint to it I'd say. Hubs was nervous about off white but felt safe with this shade, go figure. :)
    Keep us posted~

I should ask... when did you purchase the couch and loveseat, and how has the quality been? We had read some bad things about the company that made them, which made us hold off on buying the set... but if you are happy with how they have held up, maybe we would put them back on our radar. We were torn between this couch and another, and this one was significantly less expensive... which is a big selling point for us, lol.

We got the couch and loveseat last winter and they've been fine. I wanted the couch and chair but my husband realllly wanted the loveseat instead. I wish we'd bought the ottoman too, maybe this winter we will order one!
    Good luck!
