I personally like them shorter. Not touching the floor.

Puddled drapery doesn't really suite this fabric or your room style. Most often you see that look in a very formal room with silk drapes or with a very light, natural cotton in a casual room or bedroom. I would raise the rod so that the curtains are just touching the floor. It's a nice look with a higher rod. [houzz=];[houzz=]

If you hang them higher above the window and let them drag the floor it will make the window look much larger. Depending on the color of the drapes and the material, its also a very elegant look in my opinion and if you notice a lot of designers will stage using drapes that are a little too long.
