Does anyone have deeper wall cabinets?

I noticed that in some cabinet displays there are wall cabinets that are 13in and 14 in deep. I really like the idea but wonder if they will hinder any work I would do on the counter below them. Does anyone have any?

We ordered all 15 inch uppers but I can't comment yet on hindering of work as we have no countertops yet...

The uppers flanking our range hood are 15" but the base is pulled out to 27". At our coffee bar, we have 14" uppers at a 24" base. Both spaces have 18" clearance from counter. There is plenty of room to work.

I have 14.5" uppers all around, with counters from 24" to 30" and 18" clearance. Works great for me in all locations, and I can finally store my larger oval plates flat. :)

All my uppers are 13" (13.75 when you include the door panels) and they are fine. My breakfast hutch has 15" uppers over 27" bases. An extra inch in the cabinet sure helps with storing large plates and bowls.
