Needing a new Fridge...help??

I am looking for a new fridge, french door with bottom freezer. Flexible on water, ice dispenser...could go either way, unless you sway me ! 24-29cu (depending on how it measures) and in white. I don't subscribe to consumers reports so I don't know what they recommend. I would love your opinions. You guys are the best anyway. What do you like about what you have, don't like, would look for if you did it over again and so on. It isn't URGENT,--YET-- ! Help me out, please. Oh, and pics are always welcome !

You should go post this on the appliance forum. I will say, Samsung does a nice one with an icemaker, no door dispensers. (Cleaner look--one less thing to break) Take a look at the one I've linked.

Definitely Appliance forum = but I love our Elux french door with the LED lights. Works great and have saved at least the cost of the fridge in the food savings!

Would not recommend the ice maker through the door model (we did not get this model - and the reviews on the icemaker....)

We bought a whirlpool side by side....I've had a bottom freezer for years and wanted something different. I love it...we went with counter depth this time too but it seems to have plenty of room and fits SO much better in the kitchen. It has LED lights (love them) and ice/water in the door. I have no complaints.

o.k. dh and I went out looking today, and really like the 4 door Kitchenaid. Any thoughts on this one? Pros, Cons? The pros for me: USA made, flexiable use in produce drawer, leaving more usable actual 'fridge' space, freezer seems adequate enough. 100.00 rebate going on right now, though that isn't enough to sway me....anything else? I need some cons... why shouldn't we get a kitchenaide?

Two of my brothers have been happy with the Samsung RF266 so I just bought one, too. It has cold filtered water inside the fridge, but if you don't want that you can get the RF263 without the water dispenser. It's rated highly by CR If that means anything to you. I don't like the external ice/water dispensers because they break a lot, take up room, and don't look so good. A must-have feature for me is an alarm that tells you the door is open.

I don't see a reason NOT to buy a KA. Their reputation for fridges is solid. I've been happy with mine over the years and am very pleased with the built-in KA I bought for the new kitchen. If you like the one you've seen, then, IMHO, go for it.
