Zephyr vs. Vent-a-Hood

Trying to decide on an undercabinet hood for my new kitchen. It will go above a 30" Wolf gas rangetop. I was told I need 600 cfms (at least). I have narrowed it down to the Zephyr Tempest AK7000 and the Vent-a-Hood PRH9-230. The Vent-a-Hood is about $130 more than the Zephyr - which is not a big enough difference to drive the decision.

Any advice, experience, or things I should consider to help me make this decision?

The clean-up process is very different for these two hoods. I also think the Vent-a-hood will be louder, but I have no personal experience and we chose a Zephyr.

Hi! We have the Ventahood slopeline with 900 CFM. LOVE IT, and it is SO QUIET!!! Clean up is not hard, either. If we ever have to do a kitchen again (which I hope I won't) I would go with the Ventahood in a heartbeat.

Have you looked at ModernAire? I know they are pricey
but they make an amazing product.
