It sounds like it has the wrong kind of hinges on it. They come in opening degrees.

As far as the soft close, you paid for it, I'm sure. Unless they were running an special, in which case it would still be included.

This isn't a tough one. Call your cabinet person and tell them you're missing your soft close gizmo and the hinges aren't correct, that they need to be a restricted hinge to xxx degrees.

Sounds like a mistake. Every single one of my brookhaven cabinets came with the soft close. Even custom cabinets.

I know we had to have the cab installer add a different type of soft close for our "odd" corner cab (which has a different hinge configuration than all the rest of the doors, so we had a bullet type soft-close installed, rather than the kind that clips on the rest of our hinges). They make a wide range of soft-close options for a wide range of applications, so they should be able to provide one for your cabinet without an issue.

as far as I know, that hinge does not come with an integrated soft close. Most cab manufacturers have moved away from the add on piece which you may need for that door. You should ask your dealer.

I have a Brookhaven corner cabinet and also an angled cabinet and they both have soft close.
