    as i recall, they were about an inch in diameter.

    my problem is that the stores say that I can have rocks that are either 1/2-1" OR 1-2"..Given a design similar to what you used, which would you opt for? I know smaller are easier to walk on but larger look for dramatic. Which way would you go?
