Seattle area custom cabinets

I am looking for cabinet manufacturers/ cabinet stores in the Seattle area who will be able to work with me to get 30 inch deep cabinets, with full extension glides for drawers. Given that I have almost no upper cabinets - this is going to be a must-do item for me. After debating whether to just install standard depth cabinets off from the wall, I've decided to take the plunge to get custom cabs to utilize the space.

Anybody here with this information please?

Thanks!

    Hello Hydrangea_2008!

Do you have a particular style that you like? There are several cabinet makers you could go with to get the 30" depth you desire, either custom or not. Some of the standard suppliers can order the extra depth for you. If you give me a little bit more info, I may be able to give you some good names...

Mindimoo - I am looking for pretty simple styles - simple square recessed panel, basic arts and crafts styles or even slab. Any suggestions from you would be greatly appreciated. I have not so far found standard suppliers who will do 30 inch deep cabinets (with full extension drawers for the entire 30" depth) - so I would love that data!

    Hydrangea,

I think you might find that you could go to a showroom like say a KitchenCraft in Bellevue and have luck with their cabinet lines, since they carry Dynasty/Omega - higher end, they may be able to accommodate you. You might check with Canyon Creek in Monroe, WA also as they are able to do semi custom - but not sure about full extension 30".

For custom cabinets, I've seen good work from Woodinville Cabinets, in Woodinville. ABC Cabinets out of Tacoma did some extra deep 48"+ drawers for a specialty storage area for a client of one of the builders I worked for in the past. You might also want to check out Acorn Custom Cabinets in Newcastle, although I think they may have gone through some reorganization or new ownership since I last saw their work.

There are so many cabinet shops, it's hard to know who to name in particular. Some shops are great on one job and have problems on the next. The ones I've listed above, I have seen in the past and they would at least give you a place to start.

    Good Luck!

I'd give Kenis Loven a call or fill out the quote form on his website. He's located between Redmond and Woodenville off the Redmond-Woodenville Rd. He's super easy to work with... he'll be doing our kitchen cabinets. Check out the pictures on his website. Kenis can make anything you want.

Also check out Pacific Crest cabinets, in Sumner. They should have their new showroom up and running, and the old showroom is in Kent, by the old drive-in. They have a great website showing all of the woods and door styles.

They have 2 lines, and the upper one is pretty much custom or semi-custom. You can get anything in any size, vertical or horizontal, down to the 1/8". Great workmanship and customer service, and it's done using green construction practice and low formaldehyde MDF. You can get plywood boxes if you want, as well, and they have all of the various Blum hardware, including the metal drawers.
