I need to redo my kitchen without spending much! My son would like to redo the ceiling with wood planks. We're done this in the main bath and it looks great. I need to repaint the kitchen cabinets and replace the cabinet doors. The floor is light, almost white ceramic tile, some tiles are cracked. I also love the look of wood floors. Would this be too much wood, ceiling and floor? The walls will be repainted. The adjoining dining room and living room have Asian influenced styling, the two story entry hall is pecan paneled. I'd appreciate any help!
