Finished Kitchen!

My kitchen is 99% finished! I have to paint the molding around the windows and door. I also have to order new blinds. Anyhow, here's the details:

Medallion Brookhill Divinity Painted Cabinets

36" upper cabinets with molding to the ceiling

full extension drawers with soft close

Maytag Gemini Stove

Kenmore Elite Refrigerator

Kenmore Elite Dishwasher

Magic Chef Beverage Refrigerator

Delta Allora Faucet

Ticor SS sink

Pergo American Cottage Floor (DIY'd)

Weathered Nickel Pulls from Yourhomesupply.com ($2.49 each!)

New Peachtree window and Sliding door

Cashmere Gold Granite

Porcelain Backsplash Tile (I forget what brand)

Framburg Pendant lights and chandelier

It took my GC 2 weeks and 2 days. I feel SO lucky that my job went so fast and everything went smoothly. I still can't believe it's my house. Thanks again to everyone for all of the great inspiration kitchens and great tips. I've learned SO much.

Here's the photos:

Just saw the first pix and I thought to myself, "well there's a kitchen you see every day" :)
Then I read the blurby and realized it was the before pix.

The end result looks terrific. I love the pop of the sink.

Looks terrific! I too think the glass cabs look great. They add a nice touch of sophistication. Congratualations on a beautiful kitchen and a speedy renovation.

Your new kitchen looks great! How exciting!
Ok, Barb, I have to ask because I think I might know you: Did you teach English in Tokyo a long time ago?

Lovely kitchen!! And sooo not fair...2 weeks! ;-) The result of good planning and communication, I am sure.

Nice to see white appliances. Like a breath of fresh air.

Beautiful kitchen!!! It looks so inviting. Great job!

Thank you everyone for your kind words! I wanted to have a warm, inviting kitchen with just a touch of class (hopefully not low class!LOL). Now I am in the quest for 2 counter stools. I looked locally, but didn't see anything. Any ideas? DH wants stools with a back that swivel. I was thinking cherry to match my DR table.

Katmandu: NO, never been to Toyko!

I love your glass cabinets and built-in wine/beverage fridge. Your counter and backsplash look great together. Beautiful!

Wow!! I havent been to forums in long while. Specifically logged on to day, to see kitchens with white cabinets and hopefully, sand or goldish, granite countertops and walls. I painted/sanded/painted/sanded x4 my cabinets, had glass put in doors, added molding to top. Getting new floors next week, and Im down to the wire deciding on wall color and tile backsplash. I had to save your photos to my favorites...you did an awesome job!

Beautiful kitchen! Funny, I just read your response to my post, and I came to check out your picutres. I had already printed out your pics to use as "inspiration". I especially love your lights and your backsplash. We are doing very similar. I will have to post pics when we are finihsed!

It's wonderful! We just put in Medallion cabinets too (I'll post pics as soon as I get some camera help from my son). We got rid of our soffit also and I don't miss it one bit! A
re you in love with your pantry next to the fridge? We have the same pantry and it's my favorite part of my new kitchen as it enabled me to get rid of a set of upper cabinets that I just hated.

Onenjen:Thank you so much for your kind words. When I read your post, it did sound like you were doing some similar colors as me. So far, I'm very happy with my choices. I can't wait to see your kitchen!
Mabookreader: Thanks also! I really love my Medallion cabinets. And yes, I AM in love with my new pantry. I know a lot of people have larger pantrys, but this is what would fit in my kitchen. Someone on here gave me the idea to have the pantry open from the side. It has so much usable space.
I finally ordered my blinds and counter stools. Can't wait to be 100% finished!

I too have saved your pics to give me ideas for my old kitchen. I started a thread today (Starting Over 1930s to 1980s kitchen) I really like your cabinets - especially the way they are used around the fridge.
