Help!!! Wood hood and insert.

Hi,

We installed a wood hood with a prestige 1200cfm insert and the rim edges of the stainless aren't exactly flush with the wood. Do you leave it that way or does a trim piece get installed over it or is a light rail put on the perimeter of the hood to hide that stainless rim. Any pictures would be helpful to show how yours is finished off? Sorry,

I can't figure out the easy way to post my photo. If you can help me out with that I would be grateful.

I can't really answer your installation question, but here is a photo of my wood hood & vent~

My wood hood would not have covered the hood liner if I had not stood there and said "remeasure this "and make it work. The wood is covering it because I made them make it larger than they they thought they needed. After the fact ( we have a 1400 cfm Tradewind liner) you may well have to have a matching trim piece made so it looks like the rest. here is a pic of ours.

artteacher nj. That is what mine looks like. The rim of the hood is over the lip of the wood cutout.
