Not in the middle! On the bottom. You've got a pattern already set up, so don't randomly break it.

How about using two more knobs and put one set at the top and one at the bottom of that mid level cabinet. You are already doing top and bottom placement on that pantry. Putting two sets of knobs would make That center cabinet knobs coordinate with both the upper and lower cabinet knob placements.

How about getting pulls and centering them? Either that or the top--no stooping!

Definitely not in the middle. I would prefer top, because I am tall, but bottom would also look good if that is more comfortable.

I don't have kids, but for those that do, is it preferable to have these low for kids to access, or would you rather NOT have it easy for kids to access to keep them out?

Where is the latch?, I would put the knob close to the latch.

I would leave them in the middle. It would not feel comforatble to me to have them way up top or way down on the bottom. I think if you are looking around in the cabinets one hand would automatically hold onto or hang off the center area edge. Best to put a knob there.
