What kind of furniture will be in the room?

What's on the floor? Wood, carpet?

Is there baseboard, or trim? Is the woodwork painted, or finished wood?

If I read this correctly your furniture is painted white. I love the idea of green and a little bit of black thrown in to accent.

Can you post pictures? It seems like lots of colors would look good with white furniture.

how about browns? that is a hot color these days.. so many accent colors you can go with in a brown room..reds, blues, yellows, lavender, greens..etc.

The bed is a queen size sleigh bed and the floor is natural oak. I am beginning to think it's the color I painted the furniture. I think it's too white. I think it needs to be a softer color. I don't want it to look yellow or dingy but I think I need something not quite so bright. Just like painted kitchen cabinets. Something that looks white but isn't. Does this make sense?
Any suggestions on colors?

how about off whites? Behr makes an off white that is very pretty..it's actually called "Off White" has a nice tone to it.. not yellow or dingy at all..may be look into it??
