Sink is here!

SO, I ordered this sink sight unseen on E-bay back in May. I have been anxiously awaiting it's arrival since then, actually hyperventilating about it getting here in one piece. Well, tonight with the help of some wonderful friends I was able to pick it up from the freight company........ It is made from Cararra Marble with soapstone bottom and inlaid soapstone on the front which is also scooped. Made by Joshua at Creative Soapstone in Florida.

And I am so excited that I just had to post a photo.....

The remodel starts in less than 2 weeks, and I am so excited that I'm not sleeping well. I think this is called "freaking out"?

Anyway just wanted to share this beauty.... now off to (hopefully) sleep and dream about my new sink! :)

I've never even dreamed of anything like that in my dreams. Amazing. But of course it would be. It's made by Florida Joshua!

WOW.. AMAZING!!! Joshua will be doing our soapstone counters soon, and seeing his work in person is amazing! I just LOVE this sink!

You must be sooo happy right now. This is beautiful and will be gorgeous when you get it installed. Thanks for sharing the arrival photos. It is nice to see work in progress so we can see life dreams as they unfold.

What everybody said and ...Whoot Whoot!! I'd be frsakin' out too. How can you not. Actually, I'd be making a spot on the bed to sleep with it :) Serious sink crush here!

Kudos to Florida Joshua for making this beauty and to you for having the vision! It is freaking amazing! Like clueless said, I can't wait to see the kitchen this sink gets to call home!

Thanks for all the great comments! Its fun to share my excitement with everyone who has helped me thus far with this remodel.

I was beginning to think I was nuts, wanting to put it front
And center in the living room so I could just stare at it, feel
It's soft, marbly sides..... Ok, I'll admit it - I would have slept
with it if I could have lifted it up the stairs to the bedroom!

What a beauty!!! And am I jealous.....!! Congratulations! That was a find! Am sure there will be more requests for Florida Joshua sinks from GW fans. Keep us posted with your remodel. You dangled the sink before our eyes.......now can't wait to see the rest of your kitchen!
