Very nice! Don't you just love the BM Aura? We purchased our house at auction at a foreclosure 3 years ago - just as the paint and Affinity color wheel was being introduced. We had to repaint every surface of our 3000+ sf house. We got the Aura Affinity color wheel and went to town. My colors are similar to yours, except that I just renovated my kitchen to a creamy white cab/counter with the BM "Pashmina". Beautiful home!

Nice!!!! Now where is this kitchen?

cat_mom, this kitchen is in the same house as the larger walnut kitchen. I designed it for my parents in our generational home.

    Oooh......what a beautiful kitchen!

Looks like I missed the larger walnut kitchen -- gotta search!!

Anyway -- love the grain, the serenity. It is perfectly balanced in terms of colors and the calmness brought out by the light counters... everything ties together real well.

    Enjoy!

Your parents are lucky! Wow, beautiful job! The whole thing is stunning but i especially love the window over the sink with the arches beyond.

Out of curiosity, which kitchen did you design first, and were they installed simultaneously?

This one is smashing, but the combination of ambient light and painted surfaces doesn't seem to let the beauty of the wood and stone show through quite as much as the breathtaking one.

Still, if you designed either of them -- much less both -- yourself, I suspect that lots of people on this forum will be begging you to take the gigs they are offering.

It's great! The floors are beautiful!

honorbiltkit, I designed both of them at the same time and they also were installed at the same.

I really want to adopt you so I can use either or your lovely kitchens!!! they are so unique and refreshing!!! I live in the land of white kitchens(CT),not that there is anything wrong with white, but they all are starting to look the same to me. I love the warmth of beautiful wood and I hardly get to see modern examples of new wood kitchens!!! thanks for sharing!

roarah, thanks! I was shooting for bold-warmth. I had to convince some people on my end to let go of white -- it wasn't an easy sell!

Outstanding! I love every inch of the magnificently-executed cabinets. The builder was a pro. The color strikes the perfect note; what would be the use of having american black walnut and then staining it to look like something else?
    Masterful.

    constantinople -

How do you like the Ancona hood? We are considering one of their 30 inch hoods, but I don't know anyone that has tried one.

I'm so glad I got to see this! I also must have missed the big kitchen reveal, although I've seen pictures of the rest of the project on the building forum. This is as gorgeous as the rest of your home! Congratulations on a beautiful in-law unit kitchen!

Great Job!!! Always like "Thinking outside the Box"
Mother Nature, made the wood, My self , I would rather have mother nature in my kitchen, than a Chemical factory.

"Bo Peep" will obviously have to look elsewhere for her "Sheep" as you obviously are not a "Follower"

    Great Job!!!!
