Your local custom cabinet shops may have referrals as well as know of employees of contractors who are capable of this.

My contractor and some of his guys installed mine. The previous hood which was put in as the only alteration was installed by my electrician and his helper. If you have any questions about the ducting, or think there might be some difficulty with the connection, you might try your HVAC people. Basically, any kind of contractor/sub should be able to install it with a few pairs of hands. If the space is right and all, it should cost you time times the number of people. Ask when you call.

I wish I lived closer, I'd send my DH to give you a hand --n/c.

An electrician would probably be expensive, so I would find a good handyman. And, get the project price, not hourly.

And, for that fan, you should have 6 or 8" duct. Keep us posted.
