Appliance handle question

I am in the process of selecting cabinet handles and knobs. In my kitchen, I will have a paneled Miele dishwasher and a paneled Subzero 736 refrigerator.

Does anyone have any recommendations regarding appliance handle sizes? Here is a link to the handles I am probably going to select:

The appliance pulls come in 8 inch, 12 inch and 18 inch lengths. I am planning to put 6 inch pulls on most of my drawers, except I may put 3 or 4 inch on my one set of 18 inch drawers.

Any advice is greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Have you also checked the Finished Kitchens Blog (FKB)? Sometimes people list handle sizes in their blurb...

Thank you - I did some flipping through the FKB, but didn't see handle sizes, just some handle names. I may try the appliance forum.

My KD recommended 12 inches for my Miele, 18 inches for my fridge (48 inch Liebher). Not installed yet so I have no pics (and can't opine re whether she was right!) but I hope that helps a bit. Good luck!

Well, next week my Miele fridge with the custom panels goes in.

At the moment it is an 8" for the fridge and either 2 6" or 1 8" for the freezer (anyone have an opinion what would look better? - it's 36" wide).

My appliance guy said anything is fine as long as you can comfortably get your hand behind it to give it a good pull. I think some washer on that screw or some such reinforcement might also be a good idea.

This is one of the last things I'm still worried about too!

We have a 36" Liebherr, French door with 2 freezer drawers. For the upper fridge drawers, we got 18" handles; 12" handles for both freezer drawers. We also have a paneled Miele DW, and are using a standard 3" cabinet pull.
