My MIL has that (I think) same secretary. If it is the same....she got hers at Ashley furniture. She uses it as a bedside table. I really like it.

Smiles:)

Whether it's old or new, the desk is beautiful! I sure hope you were able to get it. I cannot believe the price!

Geez, why is everything OVERPRICED out here in the PNW? We'd never see that for such a price out here.

Well, NO ONE ever posts anything like that ever. She also has an antique (she thinks, lol) for sale for $15. SERIOUSLY. See the link. :)

Here is a link that might be useful: Table

Omigosh! I hope you get them both!

Definitely get them both! Good things come to those who wait! That's my CL motto!

Must talk with my husband. I told him no more purchases until after the first of the year. But really...when do things like this come along??? Not very often...

Why are you still here? Get in your car and pick up those pieces. They are both lovely and the prices are amazing. Really, the table is uneven??? Big deal! One of my drum tables wobbles. DH put a little felt pad under one of the legs. Problem solved! Tell your DH he can put a big bow on them and put them under the Christmas tree for you.

Score!!!

I can't believe you are still TALKING about getting the pieces. I feel sure that they are both LONG gone.

The other day, I actually saw a post come up on CL (it was for a cherry TV armoire in good condition - $50.) I immediately sent an email, then followed up with a phone call. No one answered the call or my email, and about an hour later, the post was gone. Either someone else jumped on it quicker than I did, or the seller changed their mind. I was sick because it was exactly what I was looking for my children's upstairs den. UGH!!!

BTW - I thought it terribly rude that the seller didn't even respond to tell me the piece was no longer available.

I know. *deep sigh*

The place is about an hour from here...and I'm working. I emailed to see if she could hold it until Friday.

My area doesn't have a huge craigslist "following"...so there might be a chance.

That's a good idea. Let us know!
