DH and I had our home for sale a couple of years ago (right before market crash). Our house had itÂs original kitchen cabinets (45 years old, but look good). We took house off market because there wasnÂt a buyer to be had. I have always hated the lack of storage space in this small kitchen. We are thinking about putting it on the market again next year, depending on market. In the meanwhile, I decided I want a new kitchen with lots of storage, regardless of how long we live there. We sat down this weekend and picked out new cabinets with pantries (havenÂt purchased yet). They are maple, stained cognac. We decided, for resell value, on an over the stove ventless microwave and a dishwasher (which we didnÂt previously have). My problem is that before putting our house on the market the first time, we purchased a brand new refrigerator that is cream colored. After deciding to put the house on the market, we bought a matching cream colored oven. Now, I have searched high and low and cannot find a cream colored dishwasher or microwave  itÂs either white, black or stainless steel. What should I do? I donÂt want to buy a new oven or refrigerator. IÂm thinking I should buy a stainless steel microwave and dishwasher because thatÂs what a buyer would probably want. Then, if the house sells, we can negotiate with buyers if they want new stove/frig. I know that the cream and the stainless steel or black together would look odd, but I canÂt help that. Advice please. Also, we are putting in granite countertops and the tentative selection is black.
