No suggestions, but do you really think 5x7 will be large enough? It sounds awful small unless you have a very small table. All four chair legs should still be on the rug when pulled out for one to be seated.

Yes, I agree with Camlan and also, without knowing anything at all about your style, furnishings, colors in surrounding rooms, etc., it is very hard to make recommendations. I can't imagine that 5x7 would be large enough.

I have a 40" round table in my breakfast room and 5x7 is too small.

regarding rug sizes: your rug should be a minimum of 4 feet larger than the width of your table. That allows people to move their chairs in and out without going off the rug. I prefer 5-6 feet larger myself. Four feet just barely allows one to push their chair back to the end of the rug.

The 5x7 rug would be appropriately sized for a 1x3 (or smaller) table.

Definitely need a larger rug. Can you fit an 8x10? If not, 6x9 might work.

What colors do you like? There are so many choices. Are you going for neutral or vibrant or deep like a ruby color?

Here is one idea from overstock.

Home Depot had a GREAT sale on Rugs over the weekend. I got an 8'x10' for $197. Its great quality. I would look there.

I have always had great luck finding rugs at Home Goods and Tuesday Morning. I don't think I'd trust to buy such a large statement piece online.

What is the size of your table? That is key in deciding the size of the rug. I'm disappointed you haven't come back with more info and your thoughts. My breakfast room table is 44" round (I had misremembered in my previous post and measured it) and even a 6x9 was too small, chairs caught on the rug and were off the 6' side when people seated.
