I know there's a Lighting Forum, but I'm posting here for a quicker reply.

Some of you know that we went through a massive remodel/build on our master suite last year. We love it but the 4" cans in the bedroom ceiling just don't throw enough light for reading in the easy chairs. We do have pinlights over our bed, which are fine, but they have a different bulb.

We realized last night that the other bulbs are Sylvania 50wt reflector bulbs. They throw a soft yellowish cast which I'd like to whiten and brighten. What will fit in those 4" cans?

I thought I spec'd MR15's or somesuch as I really prefer the look of 4"cans.

In the master bath I've had to upgrade the 4" to a couple of 6" cans directly above each sink. Oh how I wish I had been able to find a decent lighting designer rather than relying on the contractor.

What bulbs can I buy?
