bedroom planning

I mostly hang out at smaller homes forum and posted about this there, but realized this might be the better forum.

I'm converting an unused back room shed to a new bedroom. The little shed got torn down to the foundation and the new bedroom is growing up on the same footprint.

It's little, just 10 by 15 feet, but will have a vaulted ceiling to nearly 10 feet. There will be a closet across one short wall and a patio door on the opposite wall.

My full sized bed will be centered under the vault with a 2 foot window on either side. That leaves just enough room for a small dresser and two small bedside tables.

I want to decorate in swedish country... all blue and white and slightly shabby chic, slightly sparten. My old bed frame just needs a paint job and a bit of upholstery added to mimic this bed:

I love this chandelier:

two questions. Is it too ornate? Is it the right size? It is only 12" wide by 14" high. Seems small, but it is a small room. I am thinking of hanging it, or other fixture about 2 to 2 1/2 feet from the south wall to put it over the head of the bed, perhaps hanging quite low over the bed. If I have a light fixture in the center of the room it will be over the foot of the bed and that doesn't seem right.

I'm going to have to tell the electrician where to put the box soon.

For the rest of the room, I have an old beat up martha washington table that I can paint white for one side table. I have a small bench with a piece of old blue and white flooring on it for the other side. I'll need to find a small dresser. I draw the line at white on the floor though, the floor will be very dark wood.

I'm a beginning weaver and I have very ambitous plans to weave a blue and white overshot coverlet for the bed, huck lace linen curtains for the door, and a blue and white crackle weave runner for the dresser.

The weaving will occur in my old bedroom, soon to be weaving studio in my attic loft. For that my sister is advocating painted wood flooring by Model in apple green. I love it, but at $12/foot I think I will have to try duplicating it on unfinished wood flooring. Or I wonder if you can get unfinished bamboo flooring?
