Some months ago I posted a photo of my kitchen cabinets - my dad built them in the 50's and I wanted to keep them.

Here is a photo of that (again) and the update I took today. The bottom cabinets were made locally, and they also made the little one on the end, which will have glass and be lighted from the ceiling. We resolved the issues I asked about last week - that the doors were plywood, etc. Thanks for all the insight into that, and all the other helpful tips and advice I have found on GW this year.

Note the new windows and floors too. The floors don't show too well, so I'll add another photo of them. They are still in progress, hence the dust, removed doors and cardboard everywhere. The floors are 3/4" Lapacho, and we put them everywhere except 2 bathrooms (slate) and my studio.

today - kitchen walls are BM Baby Turtle

The livingroom walls are BM sulfur yellow at 75%, and the office in the back is BM cognac snifter. The bathroom is a BM blue violet I don't remember the name.
